82 Degree Repose
pencil, 1995
One of the very first drawings of one of my initial paid models.
I kept the air conditioning thermostat set at 82, to be frugal. The other benefit is lack of shrinkage.

Alan On Vacation
spectracolor pencils, 2004
Alan requested to be drawn with underware.
I responded with the towel placed as depicted.
He kept his privates covered and I was able to draw all else in view.

All About Butt
spectracolor pencils, 2003
Greg was a neighbor when I lived in Miami. Since he worked nights at "Score" in Miami Beach,
he had plenty of afternoons free to pose for me.
This piece is one of my sister's favorites.

All This and So Much More
spectracolor pencils, 2004
This stunning individual's nude essence caught my attention
at a special event, where I quickly asked him to pose.
The following Sunday had him in front of my easel.
It took three times my normal session time to complete this piece
due to our mutual desires for "other activities".
Very pleased that this work captured his essence.

Anonymus Intimacy

While drawing this, thought I had placed him too far left.
As this piece sold quickly, it turned out to be good fortune.
Glad I didn't abandon it.

Athletic Beauty
spectracolor pencils, 2011
While searching for models on a social site, this young man contacted me.
His pictures looked to be so young,
I was apprehensive about whether or not he was of legal age.
Fortunately, his ID showed that he was an adult.
I successfully ignored his sexual advances due to our age
difference. The temptation to play was very strong as you can see
from the way he was looking at me.

Book Worm
spectracolor pencils, 2003
The face fails to capture the model's exact likeness,
but reminds me of renaissance era drawings.
Since it wasn't intended to be a portrait,
I am thankful for the pleasant creation.

Brazilian Beef
spectracolor pencils, 2011
This man, whom I had recognized as a photography model
from a few years back, was found on a social site.
Conveniently, he lived close enough that he could ride a bicycle to our sessions.
...also the first time I employed the use of this patio chair
and the natural light bounced off our (former) pool.
